This one na good development, make we see how far it can go, in jailing the ponzi schemes fraudsters we d find Naija as a smooth sail for them to scam and go, without the government of the country coming after them.

At least this new rule go put fears for body, for all those Ponzi schemes promoters. Them go now the think twice before scamming Nigerians. No be for them to scam Nigerians and get away with it, them now begin to think sae naso the country d, no government agency to question them or gets them arrested.
In my view, it is important to put the Ponzi schemers behind bars. Of course the problem is not just the perpetrators but also the climate in which they are able to survive. A country cannot be a playground for fraudsters if not because the laws aren’t there, but also because the laws very often do not move. They know very well the loopholes that they can exploit and hence, many of them dare to step forward. Therefore it feels like forever while there is nothing and when there finally is one firm action, it is like a voice, a voice that breaks through and lets you know at least there is a red line, there is a red line that cannot be crossed.

But if you ever get annoyed as you see these fraudsters repeatedly get away with it then you are not alone. However, if this is applied constantly, they create room for trust to be established. This is not to scare people but to show the people of this country that they still have judiciary on their side. Punishment should not only be a warning but that it is a proof that for each lie is a price. In and of itself that should make anyone think twice about making others suffering their livelihood.
