Ivan Jurić is the new manager of Atalanta. He came after Gian Piero Gasperini and will be in charge until the end of the 2027 season. Jurić was available after a failed stint at Southampton. He has previously managed Roma, Torino and Verona. I don't think he's very successful. It looks like Atalanta didn't find a better alternative and brought him. I don't think he will be more successful than Gasperini. But we'll watch and see.
I think Atalanta is really a bit of a joke by choosing Iva Juric, because in essence Atalanta should see how Juric's journey with Southampton is this season. Because this season Southampton is really at the bottom of the English league and of course that must be underlined by Atalanta. Because Atalanta could have bad luck under Juric's coaching. Whereas if we look at it now, Atalanta's performance is stable and quite good. Therefore, Atalanta actually has to be a little patient with Gasperini. But it seems that the Atalanta analysis team has a different point of view from us, maybe the Atalanta analysis team really sees great potential and has a match for Ivan Juric's coaching style. So with that in mind, Juric was chosen to be the coach at Atalanta. But I personally seem to be a little hesitant to bet on Atalanta next season, because I personally am not too sure about Juric. So most likely at the start of the season I will watch the first 2 games of Atalanta, and if they are good I personally will not hesitate to bet on Atalanta.
