I usually reason when you have make your bitcoin or crypto transaction you can't cancel the transaction when you make mistakes on it, because many people have lost there coin by transferring to wrong address. So with how the technology is growing everyday, will there come and get a day, that you can recover your bitcoin, when you transfer to a wrong address, i mean through blockchain.
There is a way you can actually cancel Bitcoin transaction you probably sent to a wrong wallet if you noticed it immediately before the transaction get confirmation in the blockchain, you can use RBF to pump the transaction fee and divert the transaction to another wallet, but I think once the transaction is confirmed, you can’t do anything again. These functions is available is some wallets.
So my question is, will there ever get a technology that you can recover your bitcoin from when you have been scammed. In my opinion, it can help many people that lost their bitcoin for the long term and appreciate the value more than before.
No. There is no any other means to get a confirmed sent Bitcoin to a wrong wallet back unless if you know the person with the wallet address. If it is a scam from a scammer, I don’t think it can be recovered.
If there can be way, it might have a lot of disadvantages because it will be abused by scammers because they are using Bitcoin recovery service to scam people, if not really exist, then they will use it well for further scams.
Yes wallets like Metamask and Trust wallet you can override a pending transaction by initiating a new one with a higher gas into another wallet of yours, but is some cases it becomes difficult where there is a network congestion, that becomes a problem, therefore it's not always a guaranteed process. Whereas in a situation of any transaction which is totally confirmed on the blockchain, that transaction is final and can't be reversed anymore.
