I adopted the act of splitting each words of my seed phrase and storing them in different locations that only I can remember while many person I know may prefer to store it in a dry container and kept in a place that has a good temperature .
Why not add passphrase instead and store it in different locations from the seed phrase. That is better than to split the seed phrase which may lead to lost of the seed phrase.
Worth knowing that if the passphrase is lost, the wallet may be lost, especially if long passphrase is used and which is recommended.
