.There are occasions when people will send merits to accounts and help them rank up. We have a few threads out there that specifically allow users to ask for merits by posting their posts they think should be merited. I just seen a new thread in the gambling discussion section for this as well. It's good to look out for shady behavior, but you also need to do a little research before making a thread so you don't look silly.
