I'm not sure if anyone could have predicted it, perhaps some people anticipated that it would become huge, but I highly doubt anyone was expecting it to surpass $100,000.
I'm not sure even Satoshi imagined Bitcoin would be worth what it's worth currently, let alone early adopters. They speculated it could be something great if adopted but never dreamt it would be this great in slightly over a decade of its creation. How could anyone had imagined that something that was worth less than a cent (if we go by the 10,000
BTC for pizza) incident would be this great today? Anyone who said they knew it would turn out this way in 2010 wouldn't be telling the truth.
Imagine buying €1000 worth of Bitcoin in 2015 only to find them now, in 2025. It's a feeling I would love to experience, but I certainly won't, haha!
Recently, I took a look at one of the wallets I used in 2010. It was jaw dropping for me when I saw how much the tiny bits of coin I had withdrawal were worth in present time. Like you said, just imagine a €1k Bitcoin investment in 2015 and what it would've worth in 2025.
