Quite often I hear news like this and they are on average bank employees who embezzled their customers' money for years and then the pad ends up being spent due to illegal gambling,

These people are too greedy and they initially play with personal money, but they lack money to play again when they lose and the only way is to embezzle money to fulfill their desire to gamble,
but in the end it is known and gets punished for their actions.
