Almost everything in life is about risk taking but sometimes I neglect the fact that Bitcoin has a little risk because of it potential but yet I still invest with what is convenient for me, it is good to know Bitcoin is not risk free but I think it will be more good if you keep aside the " not risk free" and focus on your investment and do what is really required because sometimes when an investor put this not risk free mentality in their head, it might likely discourage an investor to some point. If one can be able to keep aside the following; discretionary, emergency and back up funds then that particular investor should be not thinking about risk but rather focus on how to use those funds judiciously.

There is minimum or we can say zero risk involved if we talk about investing in Bitcoin.
Bitcoin investment is risky like any other asset so don't get it twisted that there's zero risk in bitcoin investment so that you don't mislead newbies. This is why new investors should invest with only part of their discretionary income in a long-term and not with their life savings so that if bitcoin price goes against them in future, they will not lose hope in life.

I know that the odd of bitcoin price moving uptrend overtime is higher than downtrend but that doesn't mean that's a guarantee. If you don't have a proper plan and good cash inflow management, you might make the wrong decisions that will lead you to losses. Being your own bank comes with its own responsibility and  how to manage your UTXO is also what one needs to know.

Yes, it is true that all forms of investment have risks and also have different levels of risk. However, if bitcoin is compared to other investments, in my opinion bitcoin has a very low risk compared to others, but that is specifically for those who treat bitcoin for the long term if we really see, study and also consider it well, bringing long-term goals is the best choice besides being very profitable and also having a very low risk, and in my opinion there is none at all if you can secure it well because the risks that are really detrimental are hacking, fraud and also losing or forgetting passwords and other things outside of their long-term goals. And a beginner will be fine if they have basic knowledge and also really study it well about what they want and treat it well, because Bitcoin is safer, better and also has a lower risk compared to other forms of investment if they do it well and correctly.
