The two major forms of phishing is that of emails and fake websites. We come across so many cloned sites on the internet, they look very similar to that of the original sites but takes you somewhere different entirely. The internet is broad and most times it's easier to avoid what you have knowledge about. Emails aswell is another means scammers use to phish users and it has a higher chance of catching it's victims. That because many people believe anything that comes into their mails and some even fail to confirm the authenticity of many mails they received.
Never click to n any link sent to you by email. You should have important sites bookmarked on your trusted device. If you get an email and want to check out further information on the website, follow the bookmarked links you have or your browser history information. This way you can never fall victim to phishing scams through email or other unsolicited messages.
Well I'll say be cautious of any links you click on your mails because most time not all links sent to you are phishing. If you have no idea what the link entails or have no possible reasons for clicking such links on your mails then don't.
