We can only make predictions but the results can change, for Real Madrid themselves it will probably be much better than last season because they are so serious about overhauling the team by bringing in a number of new players and vice versa with Man City although at the moment it is not clear which players they will bring in.
Barcelona will continue to rely on a number of existing players and in my opinion for next season they will not be able to go further to the semifinals because a number of other teams will also evaluate the players they have so the competition will be much tighter, especially for Barcelona itself.
Of course - the Champions League is not just about Real Madrid and Barcelona, there are certainly many other teams who can be considered good candidates including Liverpool. Real Madrid and Manchester City will certainly overhaul their squads and increase their squad depth in order to be competitive in all competitions - but never write off the other teams because it is still possible for a team that has never won it before to win it at the end of the competition.
I hope Liverpool can do better next season in the Champions League - the 2024-2025 season was very disappointing for them. Arne Slot must find a way to improve the quality and consistency of the team's performance throughout the season - not only in the Champions League, but he must be able to do his best to retain the Premier League title too.
