When he posted it, the countdown was 20, which is normal as well. Even he needs 50 merits for the next rank; I think it's normal too. When I noticed someone needs 10/20 merits based on rank, I just help them. Either he asked or no ask; it doesn't matter to me. We need merits circulation on the forum, but not merit abuse. If you found merit abuse, then report it. But to me, it does not seem like merit abuse anyway. So I don't think it's necessary to create such a thread. Better you lock and focus on your own posting quality.
