How do you think the global economy will change in the future? Will current geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainty (trade wars, rising inflation, etc) force us to such drastic changes (AI, QCs, etc)? How long do you think will it take for such changes to materialize?
Don't expect much to change if the world maintains the same economic system, capitalism. Our reality today is dominated by corporations/compagnies in different industries, meaning there won't be much difference with technological progress, as there will always be companies that control the market and, consequently, every aspect of our lives.
When will change occur? No one can predict exactly, as there are companies and services that will disappear with technological progress. Therefore, they will fight to maintain their position and markets. This is similar to what is happening with the energy market; Despite our ability to produce our needs from clean, renewable energy sources, oil and gas companies are resisting this trend to avoid being left behind. This is understandable from market logic, but it is inherently counterproductive to technological progress in one way or another.
