It's not bad if the winner comes from the team that has won the champions league before, but I want to ask this important question, is there any law or guideline that specify the player conditions that must be met before qualifying for the awards, most specifically the champions league conditions.

If not from what I asked above, then any deserving player who has shown enough competences could be nominated for it and win, there are better players and not until they have their team achieve the champions league title before they can qualify, my opinion anyway.
