I just Googled and went on the first site suggested, FPL scout. They have a predicted lineup and buys for each team. I bought as many people as I could afford on the predicted lineup from the teams I'll want to keep throughout, and then dumped the bench with cheap players who'll never play. Solves my sub problem

I'll probably just end up keeping most of my team. My FPL history suggests it's when I get fancy with transfers that I lose the most points.
