I don't watch UFC and sorry for this question but how much is the weight difference between guys? I mean, were Merab and Suga the same weight in this fight? Or is it okay to have a 5-10 kilos difference? As far as I know, both fighters should be the same weight but I don't understand how Aljo and Merab are the same weight. Sean and Aljo are too tall but Aljo is very muscular. Merab is very short and he has to go through extreme weight cuts, what kind of weight cuts does Aljo go then? He is very tall and muscular.

There is no clear answer for your question about Merab, Suga and Aljo weight. On a weigh-ins day they must show 126-135 lb (57-61 kg) on scales to fit into bantamweight. If Merab or Suga would have +1lb or extra 1gramm, the fight will turn instantly into non-title fight. But now comes tricky part, after weight-ins, fighters start to drink water and eat, making their real weight during fight as unknown. During 1 day before the fight they are able to regain 5-10kg back. Aljo has now moved to featherweight which is 136–145 lb (61.7-65.8 kg). I would say that during fight, Suga and Merab had featherweight+ weigh Cheesy

Bellator promotion have more fair rules concerning weight. Fighter are weighed a day before fight and hour before fight, and they must show not identical, but a very close weight. Having +100-200gramms is ok, but to have +1kg is forbidden.
How do they manage to cut weight so accurately? That should be very hard. How common are title fights turning into non-title fights? UFC's weigh-in doesn't sound fair to me and I agree with you, Bellator's approach is more fair and better. Btw as far as I know, that 5-10kg is water weight and that's what they regain the next day but I've heard that this process is extremely dangerous for health because kidneys, heart and every organs are under strain when you try to flush out as much weight as possible.
Btw I still find it strange that Aljo and Merab are in the same weight class. I understand that they both lose weight but Aljo looks so full and muscular, I don't understand how it's possible. Merab looks like a dead person on weight ins and he is much shorter than Suga. Merab looks more muscular than Suga but does a little muscle gives you so much weight?

What do you mean so accurate? They know which weight they must show on the scale, week before they start to decrease number of calories they consume and water, few days before the fight they barely eat. Day before weigh-ins they start a circle of cardia, sauna, hot bath, cardio, sauna non-stop. They do it for hours, getting out any possible water from the body. Technically that is kinda legal cheating, when a middleweight guy cuts down to lightweight and fights against smaller guy who naturally is a lightweight.

You are right by saying that is dangerous, as with water, minerals comes out from your body as well. That is why we see broken bones so often. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klFeEHpYfqY here is a video for you about extreme weight cutting.

Why Aljo looks bigger than Merab, even though they fought in same weight class? That simple. Suppose their original weights are 69 and 73kg for example. To fit in 61 they cut different weight. Possible it was harder for Aljo to cut so many, so he went to other division.

Merab looks like a dead person on weight ins and he is much shorter than Suga. Merab looks more muscular than Suga but does a little muscle gives you so much weight?

Do you know kids question for trolling: "What is more heavy? 1 kg of iron or 1 kg of feathers".  Grin That is our case. Sugas has longer bones, more meat. Simple.
