You are right but the thing is risk is inevitable in any investment and some people just diversify without even understanding the risk involve in what they want to diversify into, a good investor try to understand the risk and then know the level of risk to take even though those risk may not happen or occur. And I have come to realized that most of the people that always talked about diversification are investors that haven't gotten a good fraction of Bitcoin in there portfolio and I keep wondering why they are in a haste and why they want to diversify. Investment is about mindset, a proper thinking and  reasoning and one admiring thing about wise investors is that they don't rush decision or thought, they calculate and recalculate.
