While the other one someone told me how he lose his bitcoin worth $1k , due to not having the proper knowledge he didn’t even bother to save the seed phrase at all ( you all know that is not like password you can’t retrieve back) is gone and is gone , so they actually stole his phone and the painful thing is that he bought the bitcoin when bitcoin price haven’t gotten to this stage it is now ( I think it was around $60k+) , now he has not only lose his phone he also end up losing his hard earn funds too .
It's sad losing your Bitcoin due to ignorance not knowing it's safety and security measures just as your friend just did, because to be frankly speaking, judging by the fact that he bought his Bitcoin when it's value was still around $60k per BTC, by now that Bitcoin has skyrocketed to $108k per BTC, I'm pretty sure his $1000 investment would now have been valued around $1800. But it's sad he no longer has access to it, and as such, this should serve as a major lesson to newbies to always know that knowledge is always very important.
This is really sad hearing that people still lose their coins and asset to lack of knowledge or should I say ignorance because before ever someone must have decided to get involved in Bitcoin investment, I think he should have followed up and gather all necessary information before making such huge mistake that cost him his assets, the sad think about cases like this is that it's never the end of it as their are still going to be lots people making this same particular mistake.
