I disagree, you don't need too much time to understand and master trading when you're being taught rights and practising well. Trading takes much time for some people because they didn't start on the right path. They spent several years doing the wrong thing but when they realized that to change, it's still going to be added to the time they spent before understanding how to trade. Trading needs few months for understanding and then you can spend as many years as you what, trying to master the market. I won't say you can't do this but it's so difficult to execute. Trading improves with time because you don't stop learning as a trader but don't waste all your years learning something that you're not having any passion for or being good at, try something different.
