It got me thinking whether people think that gambling success stories can only be if you recover from gambling? Is that really the end goal? To rid of gambling as an activity?
i think that each an everyone has what they see as gambling success, to you gambling success surely means the huge amount or jackpot you are able to hit, but to others they might be looking for way out of gambling addiction and or trying to recover there loses. so different people and different opinion or the way they see things. at some point i agree to the term that escaping from gambling addiction is one of the best success story one can ever hear, because most guys have been loosing a lot and figuring out a way out of it, but then they end up still getting addicted and still loosing and not wining . so the best success story of such person will simply just be getting off from gambling addiction, and of course the success of such person is escaping addiction.
I think if we wanted to hear success stories in gambling, it should not be about the amount of money, or how big they've won on lottery or whatever game it is. It's about how they quit and forget about gambling as it has ruined their lives for the worst. And if ever we heard success stories, it might not be final though as that that person can go and gamble that money again and again until he lost everything. And that's why we haven't heard good news about them except that they go into full blow gambling addicts. There could be few stories though, but you can just count it into your hands. Or most likely, gamblers doesn't want to tell success stories, I know that there are countries wherein the winner of the lottery remains anonymous as they don't want to reveal the person as he/she might be in danger.
