It got me thinking whether people think that gambling success stories can only be if you recover from gambling? Is that really the end goal? To rid of gambling as an activity?
If you recover from gambling addiction, it's enough to call it a success story. When you also made a large win after years of winning peanuts and steady losses in gambling, it could also be considered a gambling success story.

If there is any user which I can recall about his or her gambling success story, it should be @GxSTxV.  I have read a story about the user here in the forum shared by himself and how he was able to handle and come out of addiction; such a story is a success story. Once you pull off from something which is as rough as stable losing and addiction, it should be celebrated.
You are absolutely right that's the real truth about it because this addiction of a thing in gambling has always been the major challenges most gamblers normally have. However, I think is quite enough to be a very huge success story that worth to be celebrated. Though for a gambler to free from gambling addiction is not an easy thing, so it not only the winnings that worth a celebration. There are other things in gambling that also need to be celebrated.
