The decision to sign Chivu as a new coach is showing how InterMilan feels so desperate in finding a good coach. I'd say this as a pure gamble by them. I know how him has been very loyal to them, but no guarantee he can perform even better than Inzaghi.
He never had a full season in serie a. I believe he's either going to get sacked at the mid season or help club to finish at the top 4, only if he can. I have no confidence over this sign.

I think they could find better options instead of Chivu, but for some reason they are interested in him. Maybe they trust his abilities and we underestimate him. Of course, like everyone else, we think that a team that has played in the Champions League finals in two of the last three years deserves a better manager. It seemed more logical to bring in a manager who has proven himself, has quality, and has a successful career. However, the course of the season will determine whether we are wrong about Chivu or not.

Considering how he lacked of exp as a manager. So i'm cautiously optimistic about his performance in Inter. Still hope him for the best, but putting lower expectation to him. I only hope him to give a fresh idea to the squad, and no more parking bus merchant to be showed. Cheesy

Because Chivu's lack of experience makes him a little doubtful to coach a team as big as Inter Milan with the many pressures he will receive because of the targets set by Inter Milan management.
This is like a big gamble, if successful Chivu will improve his career rapidly but if it fails the opposite will happen to Chivu's coaching career.
Honestly, I am very pessimistic about that.

It is also a risky decision for him to manage Inter. Because Inter has competed very well in the Champions League in recent years and has won the Italian league many times. Their expectations are much higher than any other team. Their players are quality and this year they lost the Champions League championship and the Italian league in the last matches. I can say that they had a successful year in general, they were only bad in the final matches. If Chivu can solve this, he can build his career very well, but if he shows an unusually bad performance with Inter, I do not think he will be able to stay in the team until the end of the season.
