This is not FPL or even UCL, it is short tournament and that is much less time for strategies, planning and stuff like that to work.

This is much more about just picking players you like and hoping for the best. I would say luck will have much bigger impact here than in FPL. There is no time and games for luck to even out and return to the mean.
