AI has done more harm than good to some people, in the sense that, they are so lazy to write just few paragraphs offhand. We should stop consulting AI and make good use of our brain, myself I never liked AI in this content.
That the forum frawns at the usage of AI is not just because it makes users lazy or so, it's just that since this is a discussion forum, it makes no sense generating post through an AI in a discussion that should naturally come from your own personal insight.
Proper usage of AI will in most cases involve you using it as a mere aid in checking out for errors and making your write-up more easier to comprehend. Writing a few paragraphs or a very lengthy paragraph isn't a deficult thing to do expecially on the forum where you're not even required to write too much content. I personally don't hate the AI and in so many instances, we can point at how helpful it has been in giving us insight into the things we are planning to do. What's just bad about it is when we abuse it by depending on it entirely to generate all our text for us.
The plagiarism checker on the forum is strong enough to dictate any form of content that's not organic and is written by AI so going into such practice is just a way of directly shooting yourself.
