The use of AI is not prohibited on this forum, but you should use it appropriately. There are AI posts that I make but I quote it and mainly from Google search.
when you quote on it, it basically mean that you are not the original author of it, and you quoted it as a reference, why some people use Al to make a good sentence and they don't reference it as you outlined, why it become issues to them, is that they claim that they wrote or composed it on their own, you said, AI is not prohibited why many reputable forum members is against it? Secondly do you want to tell us that AI generated text is accepted in the forum?
I'll agree with Charles-Tim on his idea of using Ai to correct simple English. One issue most people face here is the inability to communicate properly using English. And since the forum is a global community where everyone would have to understand your writing using good English, then you can help your self using Ai to correct incorrect grammar. But avoid using Ai to create post from scratch. It doesn't help you but tarnish your growth here on the forum.

For ban, I still remember back then when I was stk very young on the forum. They usually ban alot of users for simple things or mistakes. I guess they decided to ease so many restrictions on newbies here on the forum. They simply give you a tag for violating any rules.
