Almost all countries, therefore all the fiat, blindly follows the monetarist school of Chicago, and one of their tenets is to have inflation, that is, garbage money, to "stimulate" people to invest and/or get in debt to invest since the whole point is to prevent them to save their money for the future. The only way to break this cycle is to follow the Austrian school of economy that has always rebuked garbage money and instead always talked about something like gold with a market price that no politician could change its value at will. Later Hayek did mention that someday a market of private coins will emerge out of which one will become the leader. And now we have it. Now you don't need to get in debt to live, you can save your wealth safely buying bitcoin. And yes, we can only see around how everything else sinks. Its like a Noah's ark...
