Greetings everyone.
Something has been bothering me sometimes now which I have made consultation but could not get convinceable response.
So the things is How does the merit sources pick posts for merits? Do they have bots that specifically identifies those posts like filtering a thread to find worth quality post to merit? Or just hovering around threads in their specified board they are in charge off and then merits randomly according to their own decisions?
I am curious because I see posts that is more qualified for merits but ignored while lower quality posts at being merited or could it also mean there is favouritism in there?
Merits source doesn't have any tools to figure out a quality pos to merit, or a post that is worthy to be merited, it's base on your analysis on what you're deriving at will determine a merit source to merit a user, even some people who is not a merit source award a merit to a good post that's educative, talk more of merit source>>> merit is award to a user depend on the information the user is tendering to forum, that is why it's good to be innovative and if your content worth to be merit due to the information you passed across anyone who come across the post will reward you with a merit.
It's possible. I see 89 users who have 0 source merit, which means they were merit sources at one point and now they aren't. I don't have the previous source list but 38 demoted sources in this update sounds about right.
Some of them didn't even login to the forum. So even though the total number of sources and allocation has decreased, we can observe a general increase in merits because now we have more active sources.
If 38 merit source is not longer active on forum, that means they're the reason why we have shortage of merit disburse on forum, I was wondering in last two weeks recent approval of merit source, that means this new approved merit source is a replacement to the previous source who are no longer active>>> I believe with recent approved source they will be flow of merit circulation on like before.
