Manchester City are currently trying to improve on some of the poor form of last season so they will definitely be making some purchases in order to find suitable options for Pep's schemes next season.
They have lost some of their mainstay players, and especially with last season's slump, this is a very valuable lesson for Pep to be able to improve Man City's performance. So far, Man City has completed done deals and signed 3 new players:
Tijani is now confirmed to Manchester City and this for me is quite important because for now anyway, the midfield after Rodri's injury last season and KDB who was injured and couldn't regain his form made their midfield a little out of focus. They are not bad in the quality of play it's just that the absence of initiators last season made the situation a little difficult for Manchester City and now Tijani is expected to be able to maintain the depth of their squad because in the end the scheme next season will be a little interesting when there is Tijani in their squad then Rodri or Kovavic allows to be a box to box while Tijani functions as a playmaker later and of course this is quite an interesting thing.
In addition, they also brought in several players especially for the right-back position. I think that's good enough because they are currently missing Kyle in that position and some young players including Matheus Luiz still cannot be used as an alternative.
