Because the Premier League is so competitive, it is difficult for Man United to bounce back straight away next season, I think Amorim will need two or three seasons to do so. With limited budget, Man United must find a way to recruit quality players like Osimhen. Everyone is curious about Amorim next move in the transfer market, Man United fans certainly hope Amorim does not make many mistakes like Ten Hag.
Not all players with high market value can meet expectations, Amorim can certainly see direct examples in his squad. Antony, Hojlund, Mason Mount are some of them. Amorim must learn from Ten Hag mistakes, his task next season may be harder than he ever imagined. Amorim managerial career will also be at stake, the club top brass may not tolerate if Man United finishes in 15th place again in the standings.
I agree that his work is definitely going to be harder next season than even Ten Hang's. The thing is, it's not only Osimhen that the club needs, they need more than just a good striker. If they sign Osimhen and there's no one in the midfield to help in providing or feeding him with ball so he scored then he won't really be productive for what he was signed for. The club doesn't really need total over hauling, it needs to change certain players in key areas for the team to improve with the proper coach.
