It seems most of Africa have not yet forgiven Jamie Carragher for disrespecting the AFCON earlier this year. After Senegal won England 3-1 yesterday, El Hadji Diouf called out Jamie Carragher and I’m sure the former Liverpool player would have seen it by now.
Even though some people are saying England didn't play with their full energy against Senegal, that was the reason why Senegal beat England, but I love the way Senegal came from behind to beat England 1-3. The defeat England conceded against Senegal will remind Jamie Carragher of what he said about AFCON, and he will feel ashamed because his dear country failed to beat a country that takes part in the AFCON tournament.
The match was a friendly but was a big deal in many ways. Didn’t you see how the English players were celebrating their goals. They definitely took the game serious. There was a record on the line, by winning the match 1-3, Senegal became the first African team to beat England in the City Ground. Senegal is ranked number 19 in the world, they sent a message by winning England that they deserve to be ranked among the best of the best. I’m so proud of Senegal, I can’t wait for the Super Eagles to step up their game and start dominating international football.

It was a regular team of England going against the regular team of Senegal so there are no such thing as going easy or taking it lightly. Its against sportsmanship if you knowingly go easy on your competitors. It was a game that Senegal won.
It's good for Senegal to win against England. It's a first time for them. This would also boost their morale for the upcoming qualifier games. They still have a chance to be qualified for world cup. England on the other hand is almost sure to be qualified for the world cup as they are top in Group K of the qualifiers.
