1. Regulatory clarity: in the next couple of years, I would personally expect that the government would establish some form of regulation that provides Bitcoin a platform that enables it grow and provides stability.
The decentralised nature of Bitcoin doesn't permit it to be confined under actual regulations but if you are saying its usage around a certain country or region to be regulated, I think that can actually come in really handy otherwise regulations isn't a major concern exactly for Bitcoin.  It's growth and stability isn't actually influenced enough by regulatory measures implemented by governments and their bodies so again, I still say that isn't a height with enough concern for Bitcoin to achieve any soon as it got it's own self regulatory measures to a good extent and ofcourse stability still has a fair attention that's obviously taken care of by Bitcoin which has continually placed it above other Altcoins.

2.competition: this might seem off , but I think I kind of see a competition in the nearest future, I feel like an alt coin might also have an upsurge that would seem as though competition for Bitcoin.
The bedrock of establishment for most, if not all Altcoins are embedded in the blue prints of Bitcoins establishment, so I don't see that competition, I mean for me it's not enough to even be seen as an competition, they may only want to rise to stability but competing with Bitcoin is just way out of proportion because its almost like if there's no Bitcoin then there's almost no Altcoins, rather that quest for a better level of stability is what we should envisage with these Altcoins in the nearest future such that they make room for a better alternative for diversification in crypto investment unlike now when Bitcoin stands out as most reliable and Altcoins more likely a risk or gamble in investment around the cryptocurrency space.
