most students can be affected by gambling, which is by paying less attention to their studies, probably when they wake up in the morning and dress up for school instead of to walk down to the school they would have to branch in any of the nearby shop to gamble, sometimes they might even get carried away to a point where they may not be able to realize that they were actually going to the school before they branched. Sometimes lack of discipline from the parents can result to such act, most parents once their child dress up to school they wouldn't even bother to call any of the teacher or principal to confirm if their child is present in the school or not, what they do is to assume this is the reason why most students easily get influence by bad people/friends.
I don't know what the reasons are for students going to gambling places, but it's definitely not a good place for them. School and home should really be the most comfortable place for them, because if they don't find comfort in those two places, then they will look for other places that can make them happy, like gambling places.
Being exposed To gambling at a tender age has a lot of disadvantages, it can make you prone to being affected by other negative things like drug and alcohol addiction. people that are young get into things like this due to the depression that they go through while some get into it as a result of peer pressure. There are many youths that can't take control of their life anymore because they are addicted to gambling
Yes, that is what is called the domino effect of gambling addiction, which allows them to do other losses. It would be a shame if at a young age, they have to fall into the dark valley of gambling and alcohol addiction, because they have a long future, and in themselves there is so much hope for a better life. At their age and still in school, what they should be holding is a pen and a book, not poker cards and beer bottles.
