As for me, I rarely use a VPN but I already receive such a confirmation if it was really me who is making a login and the location shown is sometimes different. I don't really know on why it occurs. ..
Today I received a message from Bitget demanding to provide confirmation of information about the country/region of residence. I can't even guess for what reason Bitget requires this data, since I have already passed KYC on the exchange.
