I suggest more reading than posting. If you ever have confusions do not hesitate to ask questions. People here are willing to reply to your inquiries and will do everything they can to give you sufficient information.
Yep, those who are new should force themselves to read. Most of the old members create useful threads for new members. The administrators have also pinned many important things on the discussion board here. For beginners I think the local board would be the most convenient place to start. I am sure the local board will provide a lot of knowledge before you go to the global board.
When I started I also did that. I started with local, and moved on to global. Be willing to try to discuss and ask questions. But sometimes there are already complete discussion boards about your question you just need to be thorough and diligent in reading. I think the older users here will be happy to discuss with you and will definitely point you to the right answer. Mistakes for newbies are normal but if you keep repeating the same mistakes it's stupid, meaning newbies have to grow and understand the rules of the forum as a whole.
