You are absolutely right, for me Arsenal had a great season, they took advantage of all the teams' absences in the UCL to go up like they eliminated Madrid it was epic and I recognize it, it is a shame that they were not consistent because it would have been nice to see a great fight against Liverpool for the PL, however I agree with what you say about City, Pep was going through a very bad moment but he is a guy who overcomes things, and this season with new players he can do what he always does best which is win.
How was Arsenal's season great? Coming second again for the 3rd consecutive season isn't supposed to be great for a team that's supposed to win the title at least once in those three years that they claim they had a great season. Anything short of winning a title isn't supposed to be considered great. After eliminating Real Madrid both the team and fans all thought they've arrived and thus winning the champions league was their agenda, lol.
