I am a totally Madridista person but I do agree with you that a PSG and Barcelona final would have been better, because I would have liked to see BARCELONA fall in the final and they would have kept quiet a bit, I think it would have been more painful, it's not that it's Machiavellian, it's that they thought they were invincible, however the best thing is what happens, Inter knocked them out and I think that there Inter played their last cards and left nothing for the final, PSG did have clear what they had to do.
You're right Barcelona would've been a good match for the finals and it would've been a bad one for PSG, PSG should be very happy that inter eliminated Barcelona if not it would've been a stumbling block for them because PSG and Barcelona have almost the pattern of football and mind you that's a finals which I know that Barcelona will not joke with it, they would have given all they got that day to make sure that they win PSG, to me despite how PSG is, Barcelona remains their superior unless such has to be proven wrong this time by both of them meeting in finals of such competition like the UEFA champions league.
