I can assure you that good traders know what they are doing and manage their way to success, unlike gambling, which is highly luck-based. It's basically betting.
Makes a big difference when its not your money. and when youre not degen trying to 10x.
In that sense, it's not about not being their money, money is money. I've followed some cases where bank traders were being investigated for recklessness in handling the bank's assets in the financial market. This is not isolated as well, many traders have collected people's money (private/public and big/small) and have blown them off as if they were nothing. So, it's about the kind of trader you are, how prepared you are and how stable your psychology is.
