Inter spoilt the tough match we would have watched if it was PSG vs Barcelona, meeting at the finals of UEFA.
Till today, I can't imagine how Inter defeated Barcelona, only to lose terribly to PSG. Making this year's finals of UEFA to be less tough and uninteresting for us that watch it. Barcelona and PSG could have made a lot of sense, for teams that are passionate in winning their matches meet at the finals of UEFA.
There were lots of controversies tied to the Barca vs Inter match regarding the referee and VAR officiators ruling against the Catalans. But that's not enough to judge what results would have came out if Barca played PSG. Inter, on the other hand, playing results proved to some Barca fans that they wouldn't have crossed to the extra time if the refs were just, yet it doesn't outrule the fact that Barca didn't play their best with inter, and may have lost to PSG too. You have to get over it. PSG deserved the trophy.
I think it is normal for referees to make controversial decisions in important Barca matches. Because Barcelona rarely gets the support of referees. We still regret that match, but I would rather forget it. Because the match is long gone and we have to look ahead. Barcelona gave their best performance against Inter Milan, but they were helpless against fate. I don't blame them for that match. If it had been a normal match, Barcelona would have won the match and fought with PSG in the final. Then maybe any result could have happened. One of the main problems in football is that, despite the technology, we rely too much on referees. I think this should be changed a bit.
