You can't really know if everyone is better than you or are knowledgeable than you about Bitcoin because you might be better than some if proper analysis is made. Note that everyone here was once a newbie before they became what they are today, so don't be deceived that everyone was Born with Bitcoin expirience. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a step. Take the step and make the change.
The difference is will and interest to know about Bitcoin because the community if filled with so many users here with different goals and purpose too and if you are interested in learning then reading will be your first target because this place itself is like a library which entails so many knowledge and updates that if you are open up your mind and thoughts to learn you will definitely be knowledgeable than so of the lazy old folks you might be raising standards .
