I think City's biggest weakness was their attack. We have seen the irregular performance of the attacking players. If I am asked what City needs to perform well next season, then I would say that City first needs a worthy replacement for De Bruyne. De Bruyne was one of the most important players for City. If this player is not found, City's midfield will not be stable.
City also needs to replace Haaland. If Haaland gets injured, City's performance will become erratic. Guardiola will definitely have to pay attention to this aspect. After these two changes, Guardiola will have to take necessary steps to further strengthen City's defense.
Yes the Attackers especially wingers are not doing their job well only Haaland is the one doing the job but things didn't work out well for him when the midfielders got injured, the absence of De Bruyne and Rodri made things worse and the services for Haaland were limited making it difficult for him to get goals. De Bruyne departure will affect Manchester City and most especially will affect Haaland if a new replacement is not found but saying that City should replace Haaland is total bull shit, where can they see a striker as good as Haaland now in the market? Haaland is an important player for them and even coach knows that so getting rid of him is not happening at all.
Manchester City really suffered last season but now that Rodri is back and City have made signings to their defense line, midfield and attack I believe things will be better for them next season. Guardiola has been able to identify key weak areas in his squad and made signings to improve those positions so I am expecting to see a rejuvenated City team come next season.
With last season poor performance they'll definitely do everything possible to strengthen the squad. Guardiola won't want same thing to happen again that's why he's already bringing in players I just hope they don't end up as flops like Grealish and other wingers.
