I always feel sorry for Paul Pogba's fate. He often got injured and when he recovered he was accused of doping. Although in the end it turned out that Pogba was not completely guilty because it seemed like he was just taking supplements or something which turned out to contain substances that made him look like he was doping. So when a doping test was carried out he failed to detect doping. And I'm happy when there are clubs that still want to sign him. because I think he's still a pretty good player. And I hope that a long absence or a long suspension does not make him lose his ability. And I hope he succeeds in Monaco.
You never know the fate of a player even if he is a star player. Pogba is a good player - but due to injuries he has missed so much playing time. Not many teams would want to sign him - but Monaco might be interested for some reason. I am not sure what makes Monaco want to sign Pogba - whether it is business or maybe something else. Pogba has spent last season without playing minutes - so I don't think he will be in top shape even with the personal training he does.
Pogba needs time to get back to his best form. I don't expect him to be the most important figure in Monaco next season - but his experience and big name as a star player might help Monaco achieve something. Monaco qualified for the Champions League next season - Pogba may play if he is fit.
