After Pep Guardiola guided Manchester City to 3 Premier League titles in 3 consecutive seasons, I expected Manchester City's performance to decline this season because all eyes will be on them so that they will not win the Premier League title again this season. Pep Guardiola has already signed a lot of players to strengthen his squad and get ready to challenge for the Premier League title next season, so I am expecting Manchester City to perform better next season.
What I accepted in the Manchester City last season performance is that, they have over stayed on the title rank, is not easy for a club to sustain same title for the 3 consecutive seasons as Manchester City did, it was a record breaking period for the club and for sure everyone looked away from Manchester City this season, but I know that the coming season things will definitely change for Manchester City.
