This is not a religious war from the Palestinian side; it's fundamentally a struggle over land, displacement, and survival. The actions of the Zionist state suggest a clear agenda: to expel or eliminate those in Gaza who have not already been killed.
As for Franky, his views seem deeply influenced by a colonial mindset. Coming from a background shaped by an empire that occupied vast parts of the world and caused immense suffering, it's troubling that he now supports similar tactics being used by Israel, and thus I believe it is always wise to disgree with everything he says.
