Which is why I just used my starting point as teams I want to keep players from, and then used a site to show predicted lineups, and then if both matched, I bought my squad. Really helped with looking at the Latin teams, as I hardly know players from there and they seem pretty cheap so it's why I sprinkled mine with them.
I also, like Trofo, feel like the big European clubs will do their best, but players will be having end-of-season fatigue and be up against teams prepared to defend and tussle. It's not going to play into their style, I feel.
Real is tempting but I remember the early season lack of chemistry and they're going to dump TAA into the works -- not sure this is going to work out in their favour.
With all due respect, but I wouldn't trust what this buwaytress guy has to say. People told me behind the scenes that he is intentionally sharing failing strategies.
Brother I am in for the Superbru pool now. It's actually not that easy to decide those picks, many variables in there. The only constant here is Donald Trump, helping Bayern Munich by detaining or preventing players from entering the USA. Ayrton Costa from Boca Juniors can't cross the border, visa was denied. Fun fact though, Milei is trying to use political leverage to get him in and if Trump allows that, man it must be a slap in the face for the guy who got deported to El Salvador for no reason while professional football players get a waiver because of power and connections...
Even the first game is tough when Al Ahly plays against Inter Miami. Comparing teams across continents isn't quite the same, but I remember that I often thought many goals should be scored in these club World Cup finals of continental Champions League winners, but it usually ended up with far less goals than expected.
As for fatigue, could possibly be and I think the other teams are much more motivated because it's special for them to play for a title against City and Madrid and Bayern and Inter etc. However, since this is the first ever event of this kind, I think players from Europe have serious ambitions to win it, but maybe wouldn't be too sad if their vacation begins 3 weeks earlier.
