Its a winning position and it's their match to lose. They were also in winning position against India in t-20 wc and choked so fingers crossed for South Africa. Hope both these batters lord Buvama and sasta KL Rahul (Markam lol) breaks the jinx.
I doubt they will choke now considering that they still have many capable batsmen remaining. My bet on South Africa is looking really good right now and I hope Markram and Bavuma themselves take them to the finish line.This win wouldn't just break their curse, but also indicate they defeated the Aussies at full power which is something special. Go Proteas all the way.
Proteas need 26 more runs to win this one and they still have six wickets in hand. Today they lost another wickets but Aiden Markram remains not out at 126 runs. He hit 13 fours in this innings and his strike rate is 63. This is one of the best innings of his life where he kept this nerves and make sure he don't loses his wicket.
The new ball is due in the next four overs or so but i don't think it will make any difference now. South Africa will be hoping to make the most of the remaining runs before this new ball is due.
