The only thing that ETH has proven is that it is centralized garbage, and that they can revert your transactions. Best place to put your money. Roll Eyes
Yes. I'm well aware of that. But at least, ETH is not as unreliable as Solana is. The latter faced a series of network disruptions (outages) over time. It's also much more centralized. So between ETH and SOL, ETH is the obvious choice to many. That said, we cannot underestimate Solana's potential of rising all the way to the Moon in the future. After all, it's faster and cheaper than Ethereum.
You are mistaken. Having a few outages over a few years is not important for an altcoin. You may think that it is, but in that case you are exaggerating. The wider sentiment and the largest group of users find this acceptable or normal. The reason these few outages are being used as an argument is because there is not that many arguments to be had against Solana when comparing it with ETH.

At the time of this writing, Solana is one of the most popular (if not the most popular) smart contract platforms for "meme" coins/tokens. The craze has propelled SOL towards new heights. If this keeps up, SOL might reach a new ATH soon. It'd be best to buy and "hodl" both ETH and SOL for complete peace of mind. Who knows? You might get lucky someday. Just avoid investing more than what you can't afford to lose, and there should be nothing to worry about. Smiley
Let's wait and see where the SOL ETFs take us.
