After a decade, we finally have Team South Africa as the winner of the Major ICC trophy. Last time back in 1998 they won the ICC Champions Trophy and then went so close most of the times in other finals / Semi final games but cannot win the title as we have the best example of the previous year 2024 29th June, when India and South Africa were playing final against each other and South Africa needed 30 off 30 and still they lost the game. Such bad luck but now finally their current players has experienced the winning of the WTC. The joy will last for a long time after this win.
This WTC chapter got closed, now it's time to focus on the next WTC. If we analyse the table from the previous table so India have a good chance to qualify for the next WTC while New Zealand and England have to try well, and then they would also be in the race. While Sri Lanka and Bangaldesh have no chance to go for it and especially Pakistan who were on the bottom of the table this time even below West Indies, so Pakistan are clearly out of the race and I think in the upcoming 2 years Pakistan will play qualify rounds to participate in the ICC tournament as their cricket is going on a bit of decline.
