I didn't see PSG as a major threat when the champions league has not gone too far because when Kylan Mbappe left, I was thinking it will weaken them so badly. It was during the knockout stages it became clear that they are not to be written off. Many people including myself had eyes on Arsenal and Barcelona to play the finals and one of them to emerge the winner. But it seems PSG were destined to win the champions league and they did.

Even when PSG dominated the champions league competition at some point, with teams like Barcelona and Arsenal still in the race and how they were performing, you will not imagine that PSG will win the league title ahead of them. They really played well and it was what they deserved that they got. Talks about Mbappe leaving the club and might weaken their performance is all fact-less claim which we shouldn’t have used to look at this team because they’ve proven that they can farewell even without Mbappe.

Sometimes I feel when a team depends on one or few players in a team, it stops other players from unleashing their own potentials because they will also be waiting for those same players to do everything while they add little support or none at all. PSG now sees the power of collective hardwork and will stop depending on one player for everything.
