I really don't understand how someone could even think that Manchester City are a team that don't spend big money. And the same at the end goes with Guardiola, he's one of the managers that spent the most money for players in football history. For me paying 75 million euros for Marmoush is crazy, he's a good player but 75 millions? For real? Only an English team would spend that much money for him.
You know some person don't actually get this facts straight, Manchester city has always been one of the big spenders in the English premier league and that has been a fact that we all know is on record, Guardiola always goes for the best, the club owners don't hesitate to give him money to get good players on his demand, this club even spends outrageously if we are to consider some stuffs, am also very surprised for such amount to be spent on marmoush just as you said despite being a good player I don't think he's worth such amount although no need for me to complain, I think that's what the club want and this validate the fact that they are big spenders.
They have to do that to get the players they want but I think what Manchester City does is always worth it, Pep Guardiola has spent a lot of money to build the Manchester City team in the last few seasons even since his arrival but we can also see how the performance of the Manchester City team is growing and the evidence of the trophies that have been presented in the Manchester City team cabinet, so spending a lot of money to build a great team like Manchester City is quite worth it.
