I don't know exactly what percentage of new people are not able to survive. But it's true that when I take my friends to forums they don't even have the strength to stay for long. I think their problem is the purpose of the forum. I think many of them are in it for the money. Besides, they also have other main jobs that must be earning.

I tried to visit Bitcointalk Satistik center but unfortunately it seems that there is no update for the latest data. Or maybe there is already another data center created. I see the last data was updated in 2017.  I have been with Bitcointalk for 5 years, I stay because I still continue to be active in the crypto world.
