You are right Real Madrid was not as strong as they used to be when they won the champions League back to back likewise other teams like Manchester City but Barcelona and Liverpool was the teams that were expected to win the champions league but when they couldn't make it to the finals it became very easy for PSG. Next season Real Madrid is preparing to come out better under a new manager and some additional players it's going to be interesting.
The journey to the Champions League was not easy for PSG. In the first round, we saw a very poor performance from PSG. Even to qualify for the playoffs, PSG had to fight hard.
In the round of 16, PSG played against the strong Liverpool. Liverpool was at the top of the table in the first round. PSG defeated Liverpool, who were in great form, to qualify for the quarter-finals. In the semi-finals, PSG once again faced Arsenal, one of the giants of the Premier League. We saw PSG win both matches against Arsenal. Although we considered Inter Milan as the favorite in the final match, Inter Milan suffered a humiliating defeat by a large margin due to PSG's great performance. PSG won a memorable 5-0 victory.
What we see is that PSG is developing very well, and it is true that PSG journey in the UCL is almost impossible to qualify, even no one is sure they can win the trophy. However the history, struggle, and determination of the players and coaches have succeeded in breaking the doubts of many people. I think PSG victory was formed from a series of winding journeys to get to the top.
